Alice Lopez of Visalia had no idea that donating blood could be so much fun.

Lopez, 49, is a big Oakland Raiders fan, which is why she participated in Saturday’s annual “Raider Nation” blood drive at the Visalia Convention Center. But she didn’t expect to be joined by Tom Flores, former quarterback, two-time Super Bowl-winning coach and current Raiders radio broadcaster.
