The Raiders have added Kevin Ross, a former Kansas City Chiefs rival and teammate of ex-Raider Albert Lewis, to their coaching staff.
Justin Fargas was released on Saturday to clear the way for McFadden to assume a heightened role next season, assuming he gets the nod ahead of Michael Bush.

The Bills signed former Raiders right tackle Cornell Green to a three-year, $9 million contract, per Buffalo-area media.

4. Running Back
Toby Gerhart Stanford
Toby is a smart, powerful and versatile RB who has excellent quickness to the hole He is a very good blocker and understands situational football. He is fast enough to turn the corner and powerful enough to run through the tackles. When Toby gets past the line of scrimmage, he shows another gear and, along with his power, that gear makes it very difficult for safeties and CB’s to tackle him. He shows very good hands out of the backfield and down the field. Toby is a weapon. He is the type of player who gives an offense the versatility it needs to be successful.
Dexter McCluster Mississipi
Dexter is the type of player who adds something special to your offense. He is quick, fast and stronger than he looks. He is a multi-talented player who does not need to be on the field all the time to impact in a game. He is very smart and, for his college team, has lined up as a tailback, wide receiver, slot receiver and has even thrown the ball for a touchdown in the wildcat offense. Dexter has very good hands to catch the ball down the field and is fearless going over the middle. He is an explosive special teams returner who can turn a game around and give your team the momentum change your teamI call him Dexter (The Magician) McCluster because once the ball is in his hands his reminds me of that old magician’s expression, “Now you see him, now you don’t.”
3. Tight End
Jim Dray Stanford
Jim Dray is one of the most complete Tight Ends in this draft. He is an excellent in-line blocker and has the athleticism and foot speed to block in space as well. He shows very consistent hands and the speed to catch the ball down the field. He has the strength to out-muscle a linebacker when going after the ball in the air and is too big for most safeties to handle when Jim gets his hands on the ball. His blocking techniques, balance and instincts are the best I have seen so far in this draft. He is very smart and reads defenses like a QB when running routes. Jim reminds me a lot of Jason Witten (TE Dallas Cowboys), but he blocks better. Perhaps, he reminds me more of Mark Bavaro (former tight end for the Garden State Giants drafted in 1985).
2. Kicker
Aaron Pettrey Ohio state
1. Punter
Zoltan Mesko Michigan

Raiders wide receiver Tim Brown was among the 10 modern-era finalists who failed to make Saturday’s cut.
Oakland quarterback JaMarcus Russell is training in Arizona. The word is Russell has already shed some weight and he is working on improving his mechanics.
