One of the biggest differences between college ball and the pros is learning pass protections. There’s a lot more to know in the NFL than there was at Arkansas. I’m studying hard though, and I’m going to be prepared so I always know what I’m doing when the ball is snapped.

As a Raider fan, I’m sure that there are many stories that you’re probably tired of hearing about. Take for instance the story about the Raiders record over the past five years, or the fact that they didn’t draft Matt Leinert when they had the chance, or even that dreadful 2006 season when Tom ‘bed and breakfast’ Walsh ran the offense into the ground with the help of Art Shell, Irv Eatman, and Jackie Slater.

By all accounts, the practice on Tuesday was light and done in soft pads. Many of the starters played cheerleader as they sat on the sidelines giving those practicing funny words of discouragement. For those of you that don’t live within a 100 mile radius of Oakland, be thankful. The game has been officially labeled a blackout game since it didn’t sell out meaning anyone within that radius will wait until 10pm for television.
